Pretty cool looking, whatever it is! ๐๐

check out this pic, I was taking it of the moon and close star. the skies are completely clear, but the pic shows something weird, you may have to blow it up a bit. it looks like a hand with a smoke plume shooting out of it. lol,๐ค maybe it's my lack of sleep, but it's strange looking. ๐

Hey Nath, thanks for the pics of your farm, itโs beautiful! Do you raise anything on your farm? Hope everything has been going well for you and yours! ๐ฉต

Thatโs beautiful! I would love to have that kind of landscape and open skiesโฆ

Wow
(Global Natural Disasters Update) A surge of extreme events is unfolding worldwide from powerful earthquakes and widespread flooding to earlyโseason wildfires and renewed volcanic unrest. This bulletin summarizes the current situation, highlights immediate risks, and offers clear, practical steps for communities and responders. Recent snapshot (Earthquakes) Several highโmagnitude quakes have struck the Pacific and adjacent zones this season, with multiple events above magnitude 7.0 recorded in recent months. Seismic activity remains elevated across the Pacific Ring of Fire, keeping coastal and island communities on alert. (Floods and heavy rains) Aboveโaverage rains and saturated soils have produced floods and landslides across parts of East and Southern Africa, with persistent inundation in lowโlying wetlands and fresh, damaging downpours forcing evacuations and road closures in several regions. Flood risk is expected to continue in vulnerable African and Central American areas in the coming weeks. (Wildfires) Global burned area this year is tracking higher than typical for the same period, with early hotspots in Africa, Asia, parts of the United States, and Australia. Researchers warn that a strengthening El Niรฑo combined with longโterm warming could intensify fire seasons and strain firefighting resources. (Volcanic unrest) Multiple volcanoes are showing renewed activity, producing ashfall and prompting local evacuations in affected zones. Aviation and nearby communities remain on alert for ash plumes, gas emissions, and sudden changes in eruption behavior. (What to watch now) Priority indicators include active evacuation orders, road and bridge integrity after floods, air quality advisories where smoke or ash is present, and the status of water and sanitation systems in inundated areas. Operational priorities for responders are lifeโsaving evacuations, rapid damage assessments, preโpositioning of shelter and medical supplies, and coordination across local and international aid channels. (Risks and impacts) Cascading failures are a major concern: floods can cut access for wildfire crews; earthquakes can damage flood defenses; volcanic ash can disrupt aviation and contaminate water supplies. Health risks include respiratory illness from smoke and ash, waterborne disease after flooding, and trauma from structural collapse. Communities already facing displacement or food insecurity are at heightened risk. ( Immediate recomendations ) โข Follow official evacuation orders and shelter guidance. โข Monitor air quality and use masks or HEPA filtration when smoke or ash is present. โข Protect drinking water and avoid using floodโcontaminated sources. โข Support first responders with logistics, fuel, and rest rotations to prevent burnout. โข Prioritize rapid needs assessments to target food, shelter, and medical aid where it will save lives.
Good morning World, wishing you peace and contentment, wherever you are on this big beautiful rock!

Happy Saturday World!! ๐

I managed to capture the last lunar eclipse. First time Iโve ever seen one because thereโs no way Iโm getting up at 3 AM and sitting there for 5 hours.๐ด It turned out a little shaky because I put it on top of a patio table and it was a little breezy that night.

Unfortunately where I live and the times that itโs been visible at home itโs been too low in the sky. Iโm just surrounded by too many trees. Iโve been waiting and wanting to take time lapse images of the Milky Way. Hopefully this weekend being a new moon I can capture it. When I do, I will certainly post it for you all.

Please please please ๐

If anyone could, he certainly could even record it if it was visible. Right @Chris Denna?

maybe Chris with the telescope can get some pics for us.๐

There have been a couple times when the Northern Lights were visible in northern Nevada but I havenโt heard anything about conditions being right to see them tonight. Let me know if you hear anything different.

I've seen them in Idaho and Montana, I've heard you can see them in Washington also .

I am in nevada and they arenโt listed as a state that might see them

Thereโs supposed to be northern lights tonight Dean, are you in an area where itโll be visible?

Hallo Nath, howโs it going?

I like a couple of them

Hello world! How's it been going Nath, have you been keeping busy?

Hallo world

Hereโs a few of the statues at work.

Sooo pretty!! @Kristy! My favorite part of warmer weather is all the blooming flowers!! ๐๐ have a great day everyone!

Pretty flowers

Good morning World! Make it a great day! ๐

Absolutely, it is pretty incredible technology and super easy to use!

Man, thatโs incredible! That would definitely have to become a retirement activity ๐คฃ

๐คช๐ yeah itโs been a lot of fun checking things out up there and getting images. I had to find ways to entertain myself when there was cloudy or overcast.

Oh Chris, thatโs dangerous!

that is awesome !! I can see why it would become an obsession ๐

I canโt take credit for how well the photos turned out. Itโs not necessarily great for planets, but it seems to do the sun and moon well but deep space is where this thing really shines. It will locate in track and film for hours and stack the photos for you. And even if youโre into wildlife or daytime photography, it will track and follow animals and even do mosaics or time lapse photography.

Saturn is my favorite thing to look at. It looks so alien with the rings around it

Incredible shot! Iโve got a telescope too, but itโs older and I canโt take cool photos through it like that!

I got a smart telescope for Christmas and that is my new favorite obsession.

Yeah Micaiah, itโs my quiet time when Iโm walking the dog before heading out to my day, and there are so many beautiful scenes, it seems wrong not to share.

From Rancho Cordova, At my ex wifeโs house while going through divorce, This was an oddly comforting moment. I see why you take pictures of the moon Dean.

Hi nath. How is sports

Hey Nath, great to hear from you! Hope all is well with you and yours!

Hallooo world

Yes it will

Itโs gonna be a beautiful day in northern Nevada
