That is incredible!!!! Whatever you are doing, keep it up!

Hard work pays off??? Sometimes... Here's a small victory for me... Recent blood work shows my A1c down from 8.2 to 7.1!!!

It's a tough way to live but I believe it's worth it for me. There are times when I think I should get rid of it and go back to city life and chef work but, Hell No! Those frustrating moments do pass and I'm quickly thankful I have these issues π I love that I have a place to share π π π

that's pretty darn close to being off grid, that's badass! I completely understand the need for groceries, we're the same way here, lol, we have solar and backup generac , so we can turn off our power if need be. generac runs on propane. π

I pay for StarLink and cell phones. I do depend on gas for the generators but I'm working on eliminating fuel cost. We gotta buy groceries cuz we're way to bougie not to cook awesome food lol.

Hey Jordan, are you completely off grid?

Good work jordan!

I was wrong, they're both in both lol

I just noticed Sage in one and Gremlin in both pictures. They were both digging holes around my little tabletop area, they thought they were helping π

I finished my solar project! It's been a little over a month I think. I gave myself 2 weeks but there were a few snags I couldn't bypass so I'm feeling super accomplished!

Nope. I did lose about 1.5 lb muscle and 1% body fat. I am 5 feet tall, female, and amateur bodybuilder, 55, and post menopause. During my fast i lost 9 lbs. i have already gained back 5 lbs because i ate and returned to normal routines. my goal is to keep the other 4 lbs off, clean up my eating, and continue strength training. But the bonus is, according to studies, my body got rid of toxins, destroyed bad cells, and a multitude of things we cant see. I can always get my muscle back. However, every body reacts differently. Chances are pretty good if you were to fast, your results would be different from mine. For example, somebody considered morbidly obese would lose a lot more body fat.

Did you add any supplements to avoid muscle loss?

Hi. When i began fasting, it was only 24 hours. I gradually built up to 12 day fast several months later. My biggest pieces of advice? Dont tell anyone except your inner circle if you choose to. Limit your activity Have a plan to stay engaged in little tasks throughout the day like reading, binging tv, a slow walk, solitare, napping, etc.

I need to do that!β¦ Do you have any secrets youβd like to share?
I completed another fast, only 4 days. Prayed, rested and got rid of some excess summer eating baggage

I spent hours over the course of 2 days planning my life out and setting calendar events that synced with my watch to help keep me accountable. I'm trying to be really intentional with my time. I have pushed through so many times when I really, really did NOT want to do something like exercising or stopping what I'm doing to go journal. Things are finally starting to click and everything is starting to get a little easier. I'm just trying to be consistent and show up for myself so that my future self will be really proud of me for sticking it out even when it is hard and when I wasn't in the mood.

My current victory is knowing that I was able to be there for a close friend. They needed an ear and trusted that I was thier safe person. I've always been that friend, that safe space, yesterday was a good day.

Keep it up. I am doing a clean sweep to reset my system. Half way through a water fast. on day 3

Beth, sometimes I'd rather have it too...

Iβd rather have the donut π© π

Is it? Lol

My morning ing breakfast routine... protein shake, banana, yogurt with granola, and a piece of BBQ chicken. It's better than donuts and a Red Bull....
