Well said Todd and Rob.... I think you both have valid points there....
But as far as baseball and golf go, I would need a baseball bat to hit a golf ball with my horrid eye hand coordination lol.....
I don’t think Todd and I disagree Todd was just more eloquent and detailed…in the end the most important thing mentioned was Canelo/Crawford Saturday!
I was just trying stir some shit up in the nicest way possible Rob. lol. I'm not a good shit-talker at all. But yes, we certainly agree.
I know every comedian has said this at one time but it still cracks me up that the toughest combat sports are men fighting for a "purse" and a "belt". I mean seriously...who came up with this?
Well if we’re looking to stir things up…who ya got? Canelo or Crawford?
Great question Rob! I've followed Canelo a lot longer than Crawford and in my best estimation Canelo has run his course as being the best boxer in his weight classes. He's still exceptonal and would bet on him most of the time. But Crawford is also extremely talented and I have a feeling Crawford is going to come out with the win.
Is this the comish asking. or just Rob? I am not in favor of either, but are there any talking points you can talk about as to who you like?
Rob my moneys on the draw! ✍🏼
Boxing is an entertainment sport and there’s no real fights left for either fighter in their respected weight class.
Well def get a rematch
Turk paid Canelo over 100million and there’s a catch in the contract 😉
So what's the catch in the contract?
Crawford Here’s a flashback of canelo https://youtu.be/jCA827WOmCs
Wellll Mr Stocking ... opinion??
My prediction...... knowing VERY little and if you hear me say anything credible about boxing please be assured I am probably parroting my son and or husband 🤷🏻♀️. Canelo knocks down crawford twice with one being a "slip" and TKO in The 10th OR Saul wins by decision 🤞🏼. It should be a great fight! Crawford is a solid fighter BUT my pick is Canelo
Let’s get too it 👀👀👀🫶🏼🫶🏼
Yes!! In the words of Mills Lane. "Let's get it on!"
Crawford is bringing IT! One min to go 😬
Looks like @Todd was right .... 🤷🏻♀️

I’ve been grinding everyday for my next fight but tomorrow I take a short break to do an AMA over in r/mma on Reddit and I’ll be here as well answering all of your questions. Get those questions ready Sircles fam. Can’t wait to see you here tomorrow 👊
Josh, thanks so much for taking the time to connect here with us on Sircles! It means a lot and can't wait to learn more about your upcoming fight and future plans. Hopefully training and prep is going smooth!
What is an AMA exactly? I’m familiar with Reddit but don’t have an account. Do I need to sign up for an account to join this AMA?
It’s gonna be a Sunday 🔥🔥🔥 I’m ready to rock Josh!!
Tom- AMA is an abbreviation for “Ask me Anything.” These are very popular on Reddit and give users a chance to ask the host questions. Josh will be doing an AMA in r/mma from 12-1, which is a popular subreddit with around 3 million people in it. He will be engaging here in Sircles while doing his AMA, so you don’t need to sign up for Reddit to ask him questions. You can ask them here and he will answer them
Can’t wait for this ama 🔥
For those who don’t know: ama means “ask me anything”. Get your questions for Josh Emmett ready 🗣️
What do you think the UFC could do to make the sport even bigger globally?
In Youssef Zalal’s last fight, his movement and elusiveness made it difficult for Calvin Kattar to cut off the cage and land powerful shots. How do you see yourself doing what Kattar couldn’t and beating Zalal to the punch?
Yeah, Zalal's good, he has great movement and footwork. I just have to cut him off and not follow him.
Josh what’s your dream fight?
Whoever has the title.
What’s your favorite pizza topping?
Which of your wins gave you the most joy and excitement…you were most proud of?
@Kelly Pepperoni, Pineapple, and Jalepeno!
Would you beat Amanda Nunes? Would you even fight a female? Should man versus woman be a thing in UFC?
@Aria This has to go back to my UFC because of how it went down. I’ve been a fan of the sport since 1999 and always dreamed of fighting. I got in on a 5 day notice and flew across the world. This was by far the most exciting moment.
@Rob I would never fight a woman.
Do you have a ritual or superstition you follow on fight day?
I guess I technically do have a ritual. I get up have breakfast and do my shakeout, just kinda blow my lungs out on a hard hard push. Then I go back and relax and spend an hour before I have to go report mentally prepping myself for anything. I’m willing to do anything to get the job done and accepted. I will get tired, bad things can happen, but I have to accept what can go wrong and go hard until the finish. As far as superstition Before I go to the arena, I give my wife and my best friends’ a hug and it has to be on the same side.
Is there a rematch you really want before your career is over?
If I could pick, I would love to fight Ilia or Lerone again.
How much do you rely on instinct vs. strategy once the cage door closes?
Man I can't wait for this fight October 4th! Anyone gonna be in Las Vegas for this fight?
@Brandon Strategy and game plan is very important but sometimes when you get into a fight and you can’t execute the plan, you have to adjust on the fly and rely on instinct. Sometimes you just have to bite down on your mouthpiece and get into a dirty gritty fight
I use to fight at lightweight and would consider going back up for huge fight but have more to do at featherweight
Do you feel more pressure fighting in front of family and friends, or is it extra motivation?
No added pressure! In the zone every fight
Who’s one fighter you really look up to, both in terms of their fighting style/skills, and in terms of their personality or mental approach to the game, regardless of weight class?
How many unranked ONE Championship strawweight fighters could you beat in one night?
Howdy Newcomer! You’ve joined the UFC group chat in Sircles where you can trash talk with fighters but not against each other—please keep it respectful of fellow members in Sircles 👊
